Frequently Asked Questions

Where are my photos stored?

All photos and files are stored locally on your device inside the app's private storage. They are not uploaded anywhere unless you explicitly choose to sync to a cloud service.

How do I sync to Google Drive or OneDrive?

Go to Settings and connect your cloud account. Then select photos in a project and choose your sync destination from the export menu.

How do I export a PDF report?

Open a project, tap Select, choose the photos you want included, then tap the share icon and select Export as PDF.

My photos are not showing GPS coordinates

Make sure location access is enabled for SiteSnap in Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services. Set it to "While Using the App".

How do I delete a project?

On the projects list, swipe left on the project and tap Delete. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

How do I rename photos in bulk?

Tap Select in a project, choose the photos you want to rename, then tap the rename option in the toolbar.

The app asked for camera permission and I denied it

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera > SiteSnap and enable access.

My cloud sync failed

Try signing out and back into your cloud account in Settings. Make sure you have storage available in your Google Drive or OneDrive account.
